What is SmartTask - WhatsApp Integration?

WhatsApp integration allows you to interact with SmartTask directly through WhatsApp.

With this integration, you can:

• Create tasks
• Update task details (assignee, due dates, etc.)
• Add comments to tasks
• Fetch and list tasks based on project, user, and more

This enables teams to take quick actions without logging into SmartTask, making task management faster and more accessible.

How to Connect SmartTask with WhatsApp?

1. Go to Apps Section and click on WhatsApp icon
2. Click on Add Configuration and fill in the following details:
   - User → Select the user for whom you are activating this integration
   - Phone Number → Enter the user’s WhatsApp number
3. This process needs to be repeated for each user who wants access to the WhatsApp integration.
4. Once the configuration is saved, the selected user will be linked to SmartTask via WhatsApp.
5. Users can now interact with the SmartTask WhatsApp bot using the number: +1 978-607-3750
6. Simply open WhatsApp and send a message to this number to start managing tasks.

What Can You Do via WhatsApp?

Once connected, users can:

• Create Tasks → Quickly add new tasks
• Update Tasks → Change assignee, due date, etc.
• Comment on Tasks → Add updates or notes
• List Tasks → Fetch tasks by project or user

Notes

• Each user must be configured individually to use the integration
• Ensure the correct phone number is mapped to the respective SmartTask user
• The WhatsApp number must be active and accessible to the user
